Youth violence is a big issue. So what does the police regulator, the IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct), do and can it make a difference? IOPC’s London Regional Director, Sal Naseem, meets LET’S TALK and spends an hour or more with young Londoners, from Elevated Minds and Youth Ink, and seasoned active citizens: Althea Smith – Chair of Southwark Safer Neighbourhoods Board and former Southwark Mayor; John Webber – pan-London IAG coordinator; and Erveline Jones – parent and campaigning volunteer with Elevated Minds.
