A child from Surrey Square Primary School talks about how she would like to see policing in Southwark and around the streets where she lives and goes to school. Shw says she would like to see more police, to ensure her neighbourhood is “safe and peaceful”.
Another child at Blue Elephant Theatre speaks about how she witnessed a stop and search incident, and how she couldn’t help but notice all the children being stopped and searched were “coloured” people.
Another child appeals to other races to stand up for black people: “We’ve already stepped up enough, and we still are not where we wanted to be”.
